What this site stores on your device, what each thing does, and how to change your mind.

This policy sits alongside our privacy policy. It covers cookies and anything else stored on your device, such as local storage.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all — holding your dates while you pay, for instance. Others measure how the site is used or support advertising, and those need your permission first. Nothing but the strictly necessary is set until you agree.

What we set

• ie_site — Keeps your session: the dates you are holding, the step you reached in checkout, and whether you are signed in. Without it a booking cannot be completed. — Strictly necessary — Until you close the browser
• ie-cookie-consent — Remembers which categories you accepted, so the banner is not shown again and "Cookie settings" opens on your last choice. The value is all when you accept everything, otherwise the list of what you kept - necessary, necessary,analytics or necessary,marketing. This is stored in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie, and never reaches our server. — Strictly necessary — Until you clear your browser data
• __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid — Set by Stripe on the payment step to detect fraud. They are set only when you reach payment. Stripe may also store a record on your device if you use Link or a wallet, so it can recognise you next time you pay. That is set by Stripe on the payment step only, and is covered by Stripe's own policy. — Strictly necessary — One year and 30 minutes respectively

What we do not set

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, and there are no social-media or advertising trackers on this site. The banner still offers the choice, so that if we ever add measurement it is off until you say otherwise.

Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Analytics and marketing stay off until you turn them on, and turning them off again takes effect immediately.

Your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking everything will stop parts of this site working — you will not be able to hold dates or complete a booking — and it will also clear the record of your cookie choice, so the banner will appear again.

If we add or remove anything, we update the table above and the date at the top of this page.
